your mission
further develop technical expertise within the purchasing department
collaborate closely with technical development teams—from product concept to series production readiness
increase value creation through value analysis, common-part strategies, and manufacturing cost optimization
strengthen collaboration with domestic and international suppliers through technical expertise and partnership-based communication
continuously optimize purchasing and supplier management processes
ensure that required items are available on schedule, meet quality standards, and are procured at market-competitive rates
your talent
completed technical training (e.g., technical drafter, turner/miller with further qualification as an industrial business specialist, business administrator, or industrial engineer) and/or advanced training as a certified technician
prior experience in the international procurement of components for mechanical and plant engineering
strong technical understanding, ideally regarding turned/milled parts, sheet metal parts, or electrical assemblies (cable harnesses, terminal boxes)
strong negotiation skills and experience
proficient english skills (spoken and written) suitable for business negotiations
excellent ms office skills, particularly excel
competence in using erp systems, ideally dynamics NAV
