your mission
actively participate in projects to optimise the entire purchasing process
further develop and implement material group strategies
support and relieve the purchasing manager in strategic supplier alignment
set up, maintain and optimise a global supplier network
search for and evaluate upstream suppliers at home and abroad
negotiate contracts, schedules and conditions with suppliers
your talent
you have a degree in engineering or business administration
you have several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in medium-sized mechanical and plant engineering companies
you are a professional in negotiations, both nationally and internationally
you have very good erp and ms office skills, especially excel
you are not deterred by a willingness to travel 30% of the time
business fluent language skills in english and german are a matter of course for you
